MLK Week - Luminaria Ceremony

- DescriptionThe Luminaria Ceremony is held annually in honor of the legacy and work of Martin Luther King Jr. Attendees will decorate paper luminaries and place them in concentric circles around the fountain. We plan to have 2 guest speakers and musical performances.Comments :Attendees will decorate paper lanterns and place them in concentric circles around the fountain. Guest speakers will read passages related to Martin Luther King Jr's work and legacy. We hope to have the University Choral group sing 2-3 selections. Attendees will mostly stand to participate in the ceremony. A/V service requested to set up microphone, podium, speaker and amp. Please have fountain turned off by noon that day.
